When asked by a journalist if the defence agreement between Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was “an Islamic NATO”, Baghaei said, “We do not need any outside powers to intervene in our region.”

Six people injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza in 24 hours
Israel has injured at least six people in the Gaza Strip over the latest 24-hour reporting period, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.
Israel has killed 1,258 people and injured 4,145 since October’s “ceasefire”, it said.
Since October 2023, when Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza began, at least 73,386 Palestinians have been killed and 174,256 have been injured, the ministry said.
