The annual Dhaka International Trade Fair opened its gates to the public at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal. This year's edition features over 600 exhibitors from 40 countries, making it the largest edition in the fair's history.
Key sectors represented include textiles, electronics, food processing, construction, and renewable energy. Several trade delegations from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East are participating to explore business opportunities with Bangladeshi companies.
The Commerce Minister inaugurated the fair and highlighted Bangladesh's growing role as a manufacturing and export hub. The fair is expected to attract over 2 million visitors during its 25-day run.
