In a major boost for Bangladesh's growing tech sector, a leading global technology corporation has inaugurated its first research and development center in Dhaka's Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park. The facility will employ over 500 skilled engineers and researchers in its first phase.
The company's CEO, who was present at the inauguration ceremony, stated that Bangladesh's large pool of young, talented engineers and the government's supportive policies made the country an attractive destination for investment.
The center will focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software development for global markets. The Bangladesh ICT Division Minister called it a landmark moment for the country's digital economy ambitions.
